You might think that after years of hiking in the Cascades, a person might think "oh, big deal, another waterfall". On the contrary, even repeated visits to the most familiar sites can still invoke a sense of awe and excitement.

The two mile hike to Falls Creek Falls in Washington was perfect this last week in May. An easy/moderate climb following the creek, crossing over on wooden bridges a couple of times then finally arriving at a roaring triple tiered set of falls.
